Job Description
Position: MS.Net Consultant
Location: Johnston, RI
Duration: 1 year
Required Skills: VB.Net, Web services, .Net Remoting, Nunit, SQL Server, C#
Must have:
Working knowledge of designing, coding and debugging .NET applications.
Experience building multi-tier transactional web applications in the .NET Framework, with either VB.NET or C#. If the candidate is not a VB.NET programmer, it is expected they can be productive in the language before joining the project.
Comprehensive understanding of the .NET Framework.
Comprehensive understanding of developing scalable applications with SQL Server 2000.
Understanding of object oriented programming.
Understanding of XML messaging and web services.
Nice to have:
Understanding of UML class diagrams, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams.
Experience with distributed applications in an enterprise environment.
Experience with COM+ or MSMQ or BizTalk
Knowledge of test driven development (TDD) and other Agile methodologies
