Job Description: Ernst & Young GSS looking for Network Change Support Technician
Network Change Support Technician <\H1>
This position provides network change and device support for Telecommunications Operations. This includes changes related to DNS, Data Center Load Balancing, IP Address assignments and configuring switch ports within the Data Centers.
Client responsibilities
? Research, evaluate, analyze, implement and troubleshoot DNS change requests on various platforms such as Cisco CNR, Windows DNS and Unix Bind.
? Add and remove DNS zones, PTR / MX / Cname / A Forward and reverse Record entries.
? Creation and maintenance of DHCP scopes and policies using Cisco CNR
? Load balancing / SSL Offloading implementation and troubleshooting using Cisco Load Balancers (ACE, CSM, CSS, GSS)
? Assigning IP addresses
? Configuration and enabling switch ports in the Data Centers.
People responsibilities
? Should have good people management skills with ability to lead and motivate the team.
? Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff.
? Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training.
? Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
Skills Requirements
? BE/BTech/MCA/BSc
? Technical networking and analytical skills in the supported network technology, experience with small to medium size network infrastructures Sound judgment and tact
? Good communication (oral, listening and writing), interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
? Good teaming, organization and time management skills.
? The ability to work effectively in task oriented challenging environment.
? The ability to work effectively with peers and all levels of clients.
Experience: Approximately 3 years of experience in network technology support
Certification Requirements:
Cisco certification - CCNA, CCNP - and ITIL
