Job Description
Job Profile:
Project Manager would be involved in requirement analysis, design and development of Software products, web based applications, portal development and enterprise level eLearning courses. Most of the applications will be based on Microsoft technologies. He will be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time. He will interact with the US team to gather and understand requirements, provide high-level estimates for project budgeting and proposal and plan the project execution. He will also provide design and development direction to the team. He will be responsible to execute and deliver the projects meeting the commitment and quality. He will also be required to staff the team when required. He will be provided with a very open and flexible environment to put his ideas into practice as long as they fall within the framework of our product.
• Engineer (Comp Science prefered)/MCA/Post graduation in CS, Electrical, Electronics
• 8+ yrs of experience in core software industry with at least 4 years of experience as Project leader or Project Manager.
• Experience working in one or more Microsoft technologies - VB, ASP, .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server (ORACLE also ok), JavaScript, HTML, Flash
• He should have had substantial experience as developer in one or more of the above mentioned technologies.
• Experience in managing projects in the areas of web application development, Portal development, Multimedia development, eLearning and other enterprise level systems using the above technologies
• Experience in eLearning, Multimedia and Portal development is preferable
• Should have experience in all the Software lifecycle activities - Requirement Analysis/Design/Testing/Configuration Management/etc
• Should have experience in estimating, planning, resource management and execution
• Should have had experience working in offshore model
• Good Communication skills are essential.
• Any Project Management certification is preferred
• Should have ability work with the team, motivate them, guide them and provide effective feedback
