Job Description:
List the technical, managerial and behavioral skills required for this
position:
Must have
6+ years of work experience mostly on Microsoft SQL Server desirable.
Minimum of 6 months knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET and C# experience is a
must.
Strong skills in stored procedure design, development and
optimization.
Solid knowledge of database design.
Strong background in Data Transformation Services (writing packages
using Scripts), replication, batch processing within the operations
environment.
Should have worked on a Enterprise Level Application using SQL Server
and handled Large Databases.
Some knowledge of next Generation of SQL Server(2005) is desirable
Knowledge of SQL Clustering ,OLAP ,MOLAP is highly desirable
Lead performance monitoring and fine tuning of the system for optimal
performance and proactively plan and manage all aspects of the
database.
Structure, implement, maintain, document and control the overall
production database and oracle e-Business system activity in a
multi-location environment.
Work closely with all functional groups to assure a smooth
implementation and to insure compliance with all the dependent
systems.
He should have good knowledge of all the phases of SDLC in order to
deliver the right deliverables and coordinate with different teams
Good written and oral communication skills required
