Data Quality & Integrity - Manager

The manager will be a key contributor in designing and providing end-to-end data quality solutions and must have practical experience with at least 1 data quality/ETL tool and large ERP/CRM system implementations. The successful candidate is a strategic thinker and effective problem solver with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Key Job Responsibilities:

Practice specific:

- Contribute to the development of data quality best practices

- Counseling, coaching and training junior staff on data quality/ETL tools, techniques and methodologies

- Participate in or lead internal/external data quality sales pursuits

- Develop internal/external network to build opportunity pipeline

- Develop data quality training plan by level

- Develop/refine data quality accelerators

Project specific:

- Lead data migration activities, including designing and executing profiling, cleansing, loading, validation techniques using proprietary and third-party tools

- Anticipate/identify/escalate issues impacting engagement delivery timelines and budget

- Manage day-to-day engagement/project relationships at mid to high-levels

- Create timely project status updates

- Liaise with client/internal technology teams on projects

Required Skills:

- Data migration/conversion experience on large ERP implementations

- Functional knowledge of at least one of the following ERP packages: SAP, Oracle, JDE, PeopleSoft

- Experience in one or more data quality/ETL tools - Business Objects, DataFlux, IBM Infosphere, Trillium, Informatics, etc.

- Comprehensive understanding of data governance and master data management

- Knowledge in data warehouse database design, data mining techniques, data integrity issues, SQL programming

- Strong consulting service skills including effective verbal and written communication

- Leading offshore/onshore teams

- Project management skills
