Job Description
Experienced Microsoft SQL Server and .Net senior software professional with travel background in India. This professional should have the following skill sets:
1) At least 3-4 years overall experience in Microsoft technologies.
2) Must have worked at an architect level with good working knowledge of UML, Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Must be aware of various design patterns and must have extensive experience in designing enterprise wide application.
3) Creating UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, object class model and class diagrams and creating high level designs and component level designs both at the application level and at the database level.
4) Must have thorough knowledge of .NET platform (min 2+ years experience in .NET) – ASP.NET, C#, (VB.NET would be plus) ADO.Net with extensive knowledge in XML class libraries, XML Web Services and .NET Remoting. Knowledge of portal design and ASP.NET ver 2.0 would be a huge plus.
5) Strong SQL Server Programming / Administration skills.
6) Must have experience in creating applications in a web farm scenario, distributed computing etc. Working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server and IIS configuration and application deployment
7) Must have Project management experience with complete knowledge of Software development life cycles.
8) Knowledge of any Travel related Global Distribution Systems – Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan and Amadeus will be a huge plus.
9) Educational Qualification – Engineers, MCAs + MCAD will be a plus.
