Job Description
Lead Component Engineering of various engine components as part of productivity, requisition, reliability or NPI projects
Carrying out requirement analysis, concept trade off, DFMEA, detailed engineering calculations, writing robust validation plans, working with various test facilities, data reduction, and data analysis.
Manufacturing & field Data analysis, root cause analysis & reliability improvement to support shop/field/reliability issues
Responsible for writing drawing change orders and working with drafting team for layouts, changes, and implementation
Working with sourcing teams and suppliers for supporting and complete New Component Introductions (NCIs)
Ownership of assigned project, driving closure with technical solution that meets all performance, reliability, quality, and cost targets.
Communicate project status, schedules, upcoming deliverables, and technical solutions between various teams. Method of communications to include, but not limiting to, Tollgate process, FRACAS, and team meetings.
