Job Title: Associate Technical Architect / Technical Architect
Description:
Purpose:
As an Associate Technical Architect, you will support implementation of a technology for a specific client area, client function, technology or platform. You will understand and manage client expectations to ensure strong client service and satisfaction by meeting the needs and requests of internal and external clients in a complete and timely manner.
See Yourself:
Contribute to the project success by providing technical direction on assigned projects
Write technical specifications
Translate technical solutions based on client’s needs and feasibility
Stay current with technology and determines the impact of hardware and/or software upgrades on new and existing applications
Evaluate vendor products and prepare recommendations
Ensure high quality, adherence to standards and best practices, high performance, and scalable, repeatable processes and deliverables
Take on extra and/or tough assignments
Participate in project estimating
Ensure implementation/milestone dates are met
Deliver quality in projects, services, and systems stability as well as quality in internal procedures
Adherence to change and problem management processes
Participate in reviews during Construction phase
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Four year college degree or equivalent IT industry experience
Six years progressively responsible technology experience
Strong knowledge in core .NET , Web Services , XML, ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005, WinForms/SmartClient, .NET 2.0 (exposure to 3.0 would be good), Microsoft Enterprise Library Application Block
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server and Team Suite preferred.
