Job Description
Job Description: APPLICATION DEVELOPER
A. Purpose and Scope
To undertake in-house software development, software maintenance & enhancement and provide support services to all employees on their IT related needs, which also include troubleshooting.
B. Responsibilities
? Systems analysis, design and development
? Database design & development
? Design and generation of reports from SQL Server databases.
? Good knowledge in Crystal Reports
? Tailoring Microsoft Office documents to suit the business needs using visual basic for application and macros.
? Active server pages programming to automate the internal forms and electronic routing & approval.
? Design and development of software using ASP.Net with VB.Net and ADO.Net.
? Design and development of customized applications for various departments in the organization.
? Backup operation of servers - Provide technical consultancy and expertise to internal and external users.
? End user computer maintenance which includes hardware, OS & software.

Job Requirements:
A. Education and Training
? Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in the field of Computer Sciences or equivalent.
? MCP, MCAD and MCSD Certification in Microsoft.NET or related area.
B. Technical Requirements and Experience
? Practical experience of at least 2-3 years in the field.
? In-depth knowledge in .NET development (Windows and ASP.Net applications in VB.Net).
? Working knowledge in Microsoft SQL & SQL DBA.
? Basic knowledge in Windows Networking Technology.
? Knowledge of Windows Sharepoint.
? Ability to create test environment for new IT projects.
