Outline
We are engaging in the development of a new product within the Company's product suite. The project is in the solution definition phase which will result in the production of the Requirements Definition, Software Application Architecture and Development Project Plan. We are currently looking for a Requirements Analyst who will assist and make a major contribution to the development of the Requirements Definition. In this role, you will report to the Technical Architect.
The purpose of the role will be to make a major contribution to the development of the functional requirements as part of the Requirements Definition. You will work closely with product management, our external Fortune 200 customers and our internal development team. You will lead a team from requirements definition to interacting with development interpreting specifications through working with our testing team to develop test scenarios. Your success in this role will be measured by the integrity and quality of the requirements and the eventual customer implementation and acceptance of this product.
Your key responsibilities will be to develop the use-cases for release 1 which will include:
Identification and definition of the Actors.
Specification of the use-cases covering both sunny and rainy day scenarios.
Develop a detailed Analysis UML model of the objects underlying the use-cases.
Experience and skills requirements are:
Ten+ years of leading a team with multiple projects.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
A background within the technology sector; experience of OOA and OOD
Experience of UML.
Analysis Patterns and Design Patterns
Experience of at least one of the following tools Rational Rose, MagicDraw, Select Enterprise or Together Designer.
Sound understanding of the processes involved in commercial software product development.
Development experience of an Object Oriented language.
Familiarity with system and application integration.
Experience in both .net and Java environment is a plus

Excellent Object Oriented Modelling skills
Good understanding of the processes involved in commercial software product development
Ability to work with both software engineers and external customers
Understanding of a wide range of technologies
Creative problem solver
