Position Description – Technical Leader
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Manage technical aspects of the project. Resolve technical problems that arise in the project. Coordinate with architects for clarifying technical problems.
· Verify that code is constructed per specifications. Function as a review leader for technical reviews. Track open technical issues to closure.
· Provide all technical inputs to the Project Manager. Participate in meetings with customer to support the Project Manager for technical issues that might need clarification
· Ensure that all project records are maintained as per processes.
· Report to the Project Manager on all aspects of the projects
· Be a lead and mentor for the Developers / Senior Developers
Technical Pre-requisites:
· A minimum of 5+ years of experience in application software design and development.
· Strong technical background with direct involvement in design and coding
· Should be able to perform lead role in the entire life cycle of the projects, including meetings and discussions with the customers
· Hands-on experience in :
o C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net
Should have:
· Participated or been independently responsible for size / effort / schedule estimation of development / test projects
· Participated or been independently responsible for requirements analysis, documentation and finalization of requirements with customers
· Participated or been independently responsible for project proposals
· Presented / demonstrated to prospective clients on Aztec’s technical capabilities
Desirable:
· Knowledge of client / server architecture and distributed computing environments
· Vertical Domain experience in Finance / CRM is desirable
· Project Management skills and experience is desirable for Technical Leads
· At least 1 year of project management experience is a MUST for Senior Technical Leads.
· Any exposure to CMM / ISO Software Engineering Processes is a plus
