.NET Architect / Project Manager should have ability to manage all phases of the SDLC (software development life-cycle), from project definition to post-deployment documentation, will be expected. The position demands an individual who is able to understand verity of business processes and then translate them into systems functionality. The candidate must possess the ability to lead multiple on-going critical activities, manage their progress within tight timeframes and be able to work independently in addition to contributing as part of a larger and highly collaborative team; this individual will play any one of or more roles as Architect / Project Manager / Project Leader. In addition to system design and business requirements gathering, other key responsibilities will include design specifications, development resource acquisition, project management throughout the life cycle, and management of associated project budgets. This individual will also work closely with the program manager to schedule and assure that deliverables are met on schedule. As part of the ongoing process of enhancing and maintaining existing applications, selected candidate will also be responsible for analysis and design and implementation of new enhancements, resolution of operational problems, ad hoc reporting/decision support analysis, and business client interaction. All applications require a high quality level of support and extensive client interaction.
Job responsibilities:
• As an Architect / Project Manager / Project Leader you will play key roles in delivering Microsoft based applications.
• You will be responsible for the delivery, design, co-ordination and implementation of massive large scale enterprise-wide projects that have a multi-million dollar budget.
• Most of the projects will be based on new .NET technology.
• You will design and build the solutions which will set the standard for the future of your clients' business.
Qualification and experience:
• Should be computer science graduate / postgraduate in BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc IT.
• 7-10 years experience out of which 2-4 years experience as Architect or Project Manager.
• Experience of leading the delivery of enterprise level application development projects using Microsoft .NET and other cutting edge technologies.
• Established management experience through leading small or large teams of developers with multiple projects.
• Superior leadership skills. Overall responsibility for the project execution.
• Project Risk Management (Identification, Tracking, prevention / handling).
• Review approval of project plans and estimates.
• Technical Leadership (Architecture, Analysis, Design, Testing strategies)
• Strong technical skills in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, XML, XSL and SQL 2000 etc.
• You should possess solid relationship-building skills, strong problem-solving capabilities and entrepreneurial drive.
• Demonstrated knowledge of .NET at Architectural Level.
• You will have proven track record in a similar role for reputable Software Company.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills a must.
• MCSD/MCP will be a plus.
