Job Description
Preferably one should have:
1. A passport with multiple entries and exits out of USA
2. OR must have a passport with multiple entries and exits to foreign countries
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Traveling to USA as and when necessary, for short (1/2 weeks) and long (4/6 weeks) assignments
2. Executing Product Requirements Analysis and Product Design phases of the project
3. Interacting with the client during Analysis and design phases of the project and authoring the Design Document
4. Understanding, on an overall level, the product vision, its usage, technical architecture, and functionality
5. Articulating components of the product and its interfaces, from a functional and technical level for both client stakeholders and the team
6. Developing and testing product software
7. Ensuring that development standards and best practices are followed
8. Perform Code Review based on Coding Standards
9. Review technical and non-technical client deliverables per the project processes and guidelines
10. Ensuring that object-oriented design procedures are followed
11. Interact with the team in US to discuss project status and extract clarifications
12. Performing software technical proof of concepts and prototypes
13. Ensuring development quality, cost, and time objectives are met
14. Reporting status to Project Manager
Skill Set Requirement – should have
1. Bachelors/ Masters in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electronics preferred) from a reputed university/ college
2. Experience
a. Have 4-5 years of relevant IT experience with 2+ years of .Net experience as technical lead – for Technical Lead
b. Have 2-4 years of relevant IT experience with 1.5+ years of .Net experience – Senior Developer
3. Hands on experience in .NET application/ product design & Object Oriented design & architecture, developing .NET applications (technologies such as ASP .NET, VB .NET, C#, OLEDB, COM+, IIS, Windows 2000/2003 Server), Developing .NET applications, MS SQL Database with knowledge of T-SQL & SQL, Web Services, XML, DTD & XML Schema, XSLT, and XPath
4. Version and Source Control Systems (like, SourceSafe)
5. UML and UML design tools (like Rational Rose/ Visio)
6. Software Development Lifecycle – like Waterfall, Extreme Programming, RAD, etc.
7. Experience with Product Development (2 years preferred)
8. Microsoft Certified Software Engineer (MCSE) in .NET preferred
9. Knowledge of SEI CMM Land ISO 9001 processes preferred
10. Excellent communications skills in English, Hindi
11. MS Office, MS Exchange
12. Microsoft Certified Software Professional (MCSP) is preferred
