Responsibilities:
Job Description
The Software Engineer will assume an active role in application development - from initial business analysis and design, through implementation and support. You will design, build, integrate, and deliver desired application architecture as identified and documented by the project team.
• Build new dynamic, data-driven web applications, enhance existing applications, and help support the production environment.
• Work closely with the technical lead to define requirements; design, implement, and test new features and functionality
• Analyze and participate in reviews of software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Develops or provides work estimates based on analysis for requirements.
• Write Unit Test Cases and perform buddy testing
Job Requirements
• 1.5 to 3 Years of hands-on professional experience in Object Oriented Application architecture and programming (design and development).
• Working experience with .NET or Java architecture.
• Sound knowledge and Development experience in C# / Java/ JSP/ PHP / Cold Fusion
• Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment).
• Sound knowledge and experience using Object Oriented design and development tools.
• Sound knowledge and experience in modular programming methodologies.
• Strong application design skills.
• Ability to work on large-scale projects with many diverse contributors.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of database systems.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, especially SQL Server
• Good experience in database design.
Key Skills
• .Net Technologies – C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, Web Services
• Web Technologies – HTTP, Javascript, AJAX, XM, SOAP, ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion
• C/S Technologies – VB
• Java Technologies – JAVA, J2EE, JSP
• Database Technologies – SQL Server 2000/2005 / My SQL / Oracle
• Domain Expertise – Finance / Human Resources/ CRM
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Science , Bachelor of Computer Application , Bachelor of Engineering/Technology, Master of Computer Application/Computer Science, Master of Science or Master of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required language(s): English.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably junior executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
