Job Description
Job Requirements/Deliverables TEST LEAD
• > 5 yrs of experience of functional testing with overall 6+ years of IT experience
• Significant experience around test automation – UI testing, unit testing, code coverage testing, performance testing etc on the Microsoft development platform
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Needs to be self-driven with excellent analytical skills, attention to detailing and ability to quickly comprehend complex problems
• Demonstrates a hands on approach to testing
• Acts as an advocate for the customer and is willing to stand up for important issues
• Experience with team triage meetings at various phases of the project
• Able to act as an equal of a Development Lead on a project, and to maintain good relationships across the team
• Accountable for customer satisfaction and user acceptance testing
§ Drive the readiness process for various team members he/she may be leading
§ Basic C# programming skills, ability to grasp programming paradigms like Object Orientation
§ Any experience with VSTS is an added plus
§ Able to drive administer and drive quality procedures within a team like peer level code reviews etc.
• Travel > 30% and < 50 %and may require onsite stay up to 3 months at times
• Reports to the Engagement Manager
• Must have demonstrated job relevant experience and staff leadership skills
Education and Experience
• Have excellent customer communication with the ability to drive the testing lifecycle from inception to completion
• Industry standard Testing Services Frameworks knowledge is required
• BE/BTech/BS/MCA/MSc/M.Tech/ME degree from a reputed college/university
• 6 years+ relevant working experience in the test discipline in large deliveries, with client/project management or relevant management experience being desirable
