Job Description: ExcelSoft is looking for Lead SQL developers in Mysore

Position: Lead engineer/Sr.Technical Lead/Architect – Database Development
Experience: 4 – 12 yrs
Location: Mysore

Should be good in interfacing with clients/ team calls with US, Canada counterparts. Should have 4+ years of hands-on programming experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.

Technical Skills:
1.Very Strong in database development concepts and fundamentals on SQL Server 2005/ 2008
2.Design methodologies
• Understand Business need and translate the same into appropriate Design
• From External to Conceptual model and then to Logical to Physical model
• Data Modeling, Design Patterns, performance tuning, Design Tools, UML, etc
3.Core Development -
• Experience in writing database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, etc
• Adopt new technologies and bring in innovation based on need
• Should have flair for active development
4.Performance and Quality
• Troubleshooting and addressing Performance challenges
• Enforce Best Practices and formulate Quality Standard
• Process driven and adhere Quality standards
• Implement code review practices and mentor team
• Has worked with large database projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
