its always better to given light color for background and dark color for font...
but about the exact color ... u have to decide..
and for website usage ... "VERDANA" is the preffered font style

hiiiiii,,,
first of all u visit some sites and find out which type of fontsiz,background color etc is so attracting.....after analysing the appropriate site use css in ur webpage.
