how to add a dropdown inside a datagrid in asp.net

Follow the steps given below to bring a Drop Down List into a DataGrid.(ASP.NET 1.1)
1. Right click the datagrid control
2.Go to Property Builder and select the Columns pane.
3.Now From the 'Available Columns' list select 'Template Column' and Click '>' button
4. After adding the template column provide necessary heading in the textbox .
close Property Builder by clicking OK
5.Now right click the datagrid control and select 'Edit Template' menu option.
Design view of the datagrid will be changed. Drag the DropDownList from the tool box to the "Item Template" portion of the datagrid.
6. Select the checkbox and click the property pane. u can change the properties of the dropdownlist as u wish.
7. Again right click the datagrid and select 'End Template Editing ' Option . Now u can view the dropdownlist in each row within ur datagrid .
