did u take the textTraining values from database and store it in textTraining variable while editing ????
in editing you take the value from database and assign to textTraining varible in begining of the page in asp.

no database....its stored in xml...nothing related to value stored..in XML i get it stored as "C#" only...but when editing the text box value is empty..it is onle the problem in displaying....v have to use escapr sequence for <%....do not know how to do it
