GridView control- very urgent

I am using Asp.net 2005 with C# ,
I have a grid view control, i bind that control with event_id , user_name, desc columns, i have a select button in the gridview. when click on select button, i need to retrieve the data of event_id, user_name of that particular row values in to two variables.
Please send me the code for this .
