Modify XML file

Posted Date: 22 Mar 2007      Posted By:: prasad     Member Level: Silver    Member Rank: 3487     Points: 2   Responses: 1

I have xml files in certain format...
Example.
<SYSTEM>
<student Name ="Abc" RollNo="101"/>
<student Name ="pps" RollNo="102"/>
<student Name ="ppp" RollNo="103" />
</SYSTEM>

Now i want to change the tag name "student" to "Record" and also want to change the value for Name attribute. That is i want to replace "Abc" with "SSS" after chacking certain conditions. and save changes in new file with these modified attributes keeping original file intact.

So can i directly use XMLTextReader /Writer classes or StreamWriter /Reader objects?
plz tell me urgent.
