In GridView's EditMode , when the value of date field is edited using calendar control the following error is thrown
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
The code used is
Protected Sub Calendar1_SelectionChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Calendar1.SelectionChanged
Dim GridView1 As New GridView
Dim TextBox6 As New TextBox
If Label2.Text = "reg_date" Then
CType(GridView1.FindControl("TextBox6"), TextBox).Text = Calendar1.SelectedDate.ToShortDateString()
Calendar1.Visible = False
End if
End Sub
