Plz. Very Urgent. How to solve this error?

i share one file from my teammet and create new virtual directory and match the path and try to run i got this error message. kindly explain how to solve. Thanks in advance.


Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

And also the error in this follo line
<authentication mode="Windows"/>
<identity impersonate="true"/>

As the error suggests, is the vitual directory configured as an application in IIS?
