Can any .dotnet compiled file will run on different machine?

Suppose we create one program on pentium machine & compile it. Then that compiled file can run on different machine?

If u run the DOT net application u need IIS , for working with Asp.net application . and main thing is u need .NET Framework and .Net software.
Now microsoft planned to develop the OS ,with built in .NET .

Yes, Surely you can execute the EXE created thru Micorosoft .NET on a Pentium machine in any PC. But the PC should have installed with Microsoft .NET Framework.

In addition, the PC reqirement may differs depends upon your application. I mean WIndows application or Web Application.
