hhupd.exe - application error.

hi! when i install sql server 2000, Personal Edition in my xp-prof, it is showing error

The Application failed to initialize properly 0XC0000006 click on OK to terminate the application

hhupd.exe - application error. i installed vs.net 2003 and 2005 successfully. but, i am also unable to install sqlserver 2005. it is not detected from my cd drive.

can any one help me onthis plz.
