Unable to create silverlight application in my visual studio

    Hi

When I tried to do some silverlight application by using my visual studio 2010 am getting an unhandled exception.
Error is "System.NullReferenceException Object reference not set to an instance of an object." in designer page i.e., in MainPage.xaml designer.

Before two days I was able to do silverlight applications in my IDE by today facing the problem.

Even if opened my previous application in designer it showing the same error and I lost my design also.

    Regards

Please check if there are any modifications in the dependent project or if some library is not loading properly.

Have you made any changes to your project. If yes, ensure that the changes you made are not causing this issue.

If your old well running project is now giving error means there is change in your Silverlight settings. Have you update something on your machine ?
Is your error description is as below line
    "Microsoft.Windows.Design.Platform.SilverlightMetadataContext.SilverlightXamlExtensionImplementations"
If yes then you need to new Silverlight version(4.1) and then download it
    see below link
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=188039
    I think it will help
    - Restart machine after installing latest Silverlight version
