If you are really interested to be a techie then anything in the world would not stop you.

First get your interest right and then decide. I am also was in BPO for 1 year and then changed my career and now i am a .net developer.

As of my point of view, you don't have a real time experience in .net that means you are a fresher in that. As a fresher, if you are planned to get a job in outside apart from .net you should have a good skills in newtechnologies like ( SharePoint, MVC) and improve one real time project based on those technologies and then apply in job portal this is one way. Another way is already you are working in a BPO sector, few of Companies will give offer to software industry if the person is capable person. If the same thing is applicable in your existing company then get a job in that and work in that minimum 2 years then use that experience and get a job in outside this is second way. The final decision is up to you.

    All the Best...

Give respect to your work, Instead of trying to impress your boss.
