    Row sampling & Percentage sampling in SSIS

    I have one more doubt that Row sampling is Asynchronous transformation and Percentage sampling is Synchronous transformation
    Why ?

    Please explain me brief

    Hi,

    RowSampling will give you the no.of rows effected for that particular execution.
    PercentageSampling will give you the percentage of that.

    EX:
    In a College there are 1000 members.

    If you want to calculate RowSampling of the particular, if I consider 20 is the value then output become 20.But in PercentageSampling the output will change to 1000*20/100 = 200.

    This is the difference between RowSampling and PercentageSampling.
