Career shift from .Net to Data Warehousing/BI

Posted Date: 30 Aug 2012      Posted By:: GD     Member Level: Bronze    Member Rank: 3901     Points: 4   Responses: 2

Hi,

Please suggest me possibilities/ solutions to shift the career from .net development (coding) to datawarehousing/Business Intelligence for a 6+ year experienced .Net developer.
Any references to good training centres in bangalore would also be helpful.
Which tools related to datawarehousing/BI should be learnt ?
Also can I make a career out of only Microsoft Business Intelligence tools like SSAS, SSRS and SSIS, since I have .net experience.

Thanks,
GD

Hi Vijayalakshmi,

Thanks for the information.
My major concern is I am not at all good technically.
So just wanted to start all over again with something which considers my present experience and which is not so difficult to learn and leverage on.
I understand it is not suggestable to shift at this point my career but I am not fidning any other better way with my current level of expertise and confidence.

Thanks,
GD
