Bound set of values in crystal report or reportviewer based on condition

Hi Everyone,

I have some records in my sql table.... I bound that values in crystal report or reportviewer..... I have 10 columns in table.... When i click one button i bound first 5 records in crystal report or reportviewer and anothere button click bound other records in crystal report or reportviewer....but i use same crystal report or reportviewer...... Is this possible? Just tell me....

Hi Lawrence,

You can do this using filter data from database and bind it to crystal report.
When you click first button that time fetch top 5 record and bind it to report like,

Dim adp As New OleDbDataAdapter '' declare adapter
adp.SelectCommand = com '' select command for adpapter to work on
Dim ds As New DataSet '' delcare dataset
adp.Fill(ds, "Crystal")

Dim rpt As New CrystalReport1
rpt1.SetDataSource(ds)

And Click Another button bind another record to report
