If you are very good in developing applications then teaching experience won't be a barrier for you. Good luck!

You are in to teaching so it seems your communication skills must be very good. Those skills require at the time of interview. Go with determination and tell interviewer that if given an opportunity ,you can do well in development as well. There are many areas in educational domain also which can be taken into consideration while job searching. All the best!

If you are having 4 years teching experience, you cna apply for 3+ yrs exp and try to attend the interviews with the same experience so that you cna get the questions which they can ask. Best of luck.

But as you say that you have MBA degree then I think for become a developer at first you should learn programming languages. After that you can try in any small software company then after getting experience in programming field you can switch to big company. Career Coaching Services
