Role + Salary for Dotnet 7 years experience

Hi Team,

I have 7 years experience. I would like to know what is the market standard salary.

Please give an example if I place in Bank of America how much salary I should get and role I can expect?

Hi, You should get team lead role as you have 7 years of experience. Initially,you can lead to 7-8 people group and later on you can manage even more number of resources once you will be more familiar to your role. If you prefer architeural role then you can ask for technology specialist kind of role to company. It is very much challenging job. Salary depends up on the company policies but you can ask for 30-40% hike. All the best. Regards, Prachi.

Hi bujj, The role u get is Team Leader or Project Leader depends upon the organization u opt for.Now a days based on experience and skillset the package will vary.Outsiders mostly are seeing the last previously drawn package and giving 15% hike on it.If you are confident and think this package worths me,wait for the employer who gives that or take as it comes.

Hi, Some people give more importance to company's brand name but before joining any organization, you should also see the type of work, quality of work and role. It is very difficult to judge any company before joining but still you can ask your friends those are in that organization or collect all important information related to company. Regarding your role , it should be senior associate , team leader , project leader , module leader. If you like management type of work then ask them to give senior business analyst role to you. As far as salary is concerned, it should be 20-25% more than the current package. Best wishes from Sarang.

For 7 years, you can get Team Lead/Associate Lead/Project Lead kind of role. Role again depends on communication skills. Salary is like 25 to 35% hike you can expect from BOA. If already your present salary very more, Then you can't get 25 to 35% hike.

Hai Bujji, For 7 yrs experience, I would say it's all depends on the company levels and various other things. But in general, the Project lead or team lead position is considered for 6-8 yrs range. In some companies the designations are Technical Consultants and Senior Technical Consultants so in those companies, you can get the Senior Technical Consultants role. As per the bank Of America, I think you can get the Senior Technical Consultants role. For the salary hike and other benefits, it's all depends on your current salary structure and the company levels and range. But in general, if you are >1 yrs in your current company, then in general you can get the hike of 20-25% as compare to your current salary drawn. Hop it will give you some idea. Hi. I am agree with all. If you have 7 years of experience in Dot net technology you may get the position of Tech Lead/Team Lead/Project Lead/Project Manager. Accordingly you may withdraw a handsome salary i.e. more than 10 lac per annum. You can get somewhere around 10 to 12 lacs. If you already have some offers, you can use the same to negotiate a better deal.
