Start from the basic questions of ASP.net , C# etc and daily spend 1-2 hours for interview preparation. As you have very good experience on dot net , it will be easier for you to grasp topics easily. You can focus on good communication skills , try to stand in front of mirror and talk few sentences. It will increase your confidence. You can use various job portals for getting many calls from companies. Compnies look for long term commitment which you can assure them at the time of interview. And yes, give quality time to your family as well on weekends which will refresh your mind completely. All the best.
Regards, Prachi.

Appreciate you for sticking to a company for 5+ years.
Normally if any company looks at your resume, they will have very +ve opinion about your stability, here you scored already.
So, IF you can just present your experience and knowledge in right way you are selected.
* First back to Basics, Since you have very good hands-on its time to just refresh your theory and basics
* Start discussing with your collegues/friends by taking a interview question/topic when you find time or in break.
* Block your time atleast for 30 mins before and after interview so that you can focus only on interview.
* Just grab extra hours during weekends like free time morning couple of hours and afternoon, when everyone is busy you can just prepare yourself.
Attached doc is very useful.
All the best!!!

Well i personally feel that your problem is all related to mental strength. according to your description it seems that you have a very good knowledge about .net i personally would suggest you to try some yoga to relax every time before you start and after you complete your work. also do concentrate on all communication skills and your personality. facing interview you should compare with a kid trying for admission in a school, maybe that would help too! good luck

It totally depends upon you how you manage to get some time for yourself for the interview preparation. Believe me, everybody has enough time per day, its just our excuse which makes us lazy and we start saying we don't have enough time. If you spend 10 hours a day in office, you can spend one more hour extra in office for your interview preparation. After that when you come back to home you will feel good that you have done your office work as well as spent some time in the interview preparation. So if you follow this routine 5 days a week, you would have spent 5 hours a week to achieve your goal. Similarly, you can think of other options to get some time from your daily schedule. It may be helful for you.

| #677219 Author: Pawan Awasthi Member Level: Diamond Member Rank: 4 Date: 25/Jun/2012 Rating: Points: 3 | Hay Devaraj, As you have enough experience(5+ yrs) so the expectations from the company is little bit high as compare to other people who is having 2-3 yrs exp. So in these situations, you should be not in hurry while responding the answers and also you should be relaxed because you are already working so you should be less worry about the next job. One more thing I would like to point out which I have seen with most of the people who come for the interview is that they are good but due to lack of communication skills they get rejected. So your communication should be proper and you can take some break while giving the answers..tak water if you want etc. So these things will definitely overcome the problems which you are facing while attending the interviews.

Be confident and attend interview by thinking positively that you will be getting this job. Positive thinking help a lot to reduce the stress. Meditation also helps in maintaining good mental strength. Discuss technical things with your friends to enhance your knowledge.Visit DNS regularly so that your doubts get resolved by other team members. Also you can read good technical articles which will help you at the time of interview.
