Reg. procedure of developing website or web application

Dear Members

I develop Web Applications and websites in ASP.NET 3.5. I adopt following procedure to do so. I wanna know that the following procedure is correct of needs change

Procedure..

1. I prepare a flowchart kindoff thing for the problem.
2. I prepare database.
3. I prepare web forms.
4. I develop Business Access Layer in a class file (Mostly 2 or 3 in numbers).
5. I lastly develop Data Access Logic containing 4 public functions capable of perform in CRUD operations of all kind......
5. The Bussiness Access layer/ logic communicates with Data Access layer and then bussiness access layers sends back data to presentation layer.


Now please tell that above procedure i follow for developing websites and web applications is correct or not. if not please tell the applicable.

Hi,

The steps you are following looks good, In this method sometimes step 2 and 3 can interchange,
2. I prepare database.
3. I prepare web forms.

If you are not a very good database designer then coding will be bit tough, so sometimes people prepare the user interface first and prepare the database design.

But all in all you are following the proper methods.

Hai Deepak,
It seems that the steps which you have mentioned are fine. but again its all depends upon how's the requirements are changing and kind of design(HLD and LLD).
If these are he thing then there might be some slipped between your steps and the actual steps which will be followed.
But overall, its good way to start with your steps.
