Revenue Sharing program in DotNetSpiderHello DNS'ians,
We are going to start a new revenue sharing program in DotNetSpider website for the benefit of our members. The revenue sharing program will start from 1st September, 2010. We are initially planning to share Rs 10,000 per month. We will be selecting the top 10 contributors every month and share the revenue amount of Rs 10,000 among these top 10 contributors. Here are the guidelines and rules for the revenue sharing program which we are going to start from 1st September, 2010.
Revenue sharing in DotNetSpider will start from 1st September, 2010.
We will be sharing up to Rs 10,000 as revenue sharing amount every month.
We will select top 10 contributors every month based on the total points earned by them during the previous calendar month. The selection of 10 top contributors will start from the month of August 2010 itself.
We will stop selecting the 3 monthly winners from August 2010. There will be only 1 Member of The Month award and a certificate will be issued to the winner.
We are discontinuing all quarterly and semi annual prizes.
We will continue to have some Member of The Year awards
We will give free software license from www.aspose.com to one of those 10 top contributors till October 2010. After that we will stop giving the software licenses.
The total points earned by all the 10 toppers will be added together. Then we divide the total revenue ( Rs 10,000) by the total points. This gives the revenue share per point. This amount multiplied by the points earned by the member will be the share of the member.
Let us take an example: Let us say that the total points earned by these 10 members is 5000. This means that the revenue share per point is Rs 2. So if you earned 600 points, your share will be Rs 1200.
We do not count the points earned from Credits/Awards, creating/joining communities, creating/voting in polls, adding photos in various sections, receiving virtual gifts etc for the purpose of revenue share calculations..
We reserve the rights to exclude any specific member from the revenue share group.
We reserve the rights to include any specific member in the revenue sharing group even if they do not belong to the top 10 group. Sometimes, we may include a super performing editor in the revenue sharing group, even if he does not belong to the top 10 group.
The number of revenue sharing members may not be exactly 10. If there are not enough high performing members, we may reduce this number or reduce the shared revenue.
If the effective points are too close, we may include few extra members for the revenue sharing, but the shared amount may remain Rs 10,000.
Members selected for the revenue sharing should sign an agreement that they will not remove their content from DNS and will not publish the same content else where.
If a member is doing any unhealthy practices during that month to get listed in the top 10 members list, he will be excluded from revenue sharing or we may reduce his revenue share and use that money for other purposes.
Members selected for revenue sharing should sign an agreement saying they will not remove their content from DNS, will not republish the content anywhere else and will follow the rules set by DNS from time to time
Please note that we share revenue only with India and other countries to which we can legally send money. The cost involved in international money transfer will be the member's responsibility.
If you have doubt or any other suggestions regarding these policies you can post your response here.
We wish all our members to contribute nice articles in DotNetSpider.
