How to greet at reception counter?

Posted Date: 23 Apr 2010      Posted By:: Potalibaba     Member Level: Bronze    Member Rank: 1158     Points: 1   Responses: 5

I want to know how you guys introduce yourself at reception counter when you reach at interview place. Well, this is a silly question but important one too as this is the first interaction you have with someone at the interview venue. I usually say this "Hello mam/sir, I am **name** and my interview is scheduled at **time** for the post of **position**. and then I hand over my resume.

is this ok to say like this or everyone can tell me their way of introduction at the reception counter. I am not talking about introduction in f2f interview.

Thanks everyone
