Hello DNS'ians,
Hima Bindu is a senior Diamond member who is also an MVP awardee and got the award in the year 2009. (This is the fourth consecutive year in which she was awarded MVP from Microsoft). She joined DNS on 14th March, 2005 and is very active member of DotNetspider who contributed in DNS from the last 4 years. She has been associated with DNS since its inception.
Hima Bindu got a number of awards from DotNetspider including Member of the Year award for the year 2008. She is a certified professional trainer in .NET amd also a mentor in DotNetSpider. She has provided very good answers in DotNetSpider forums and guided many people. She is working in a leading MNC as Technical Lead.
She was awarded with DotNetSpider MVM award recently in July, 2009. We had an interview with her to get her views on DotNetSpider and her message to DotNetSpider members. Here is the interview we had with her.
Please tell us about yourself?
I am HimaBindu Vejella working as Technical lead in a leading MNC.
How did you get into DotNetSpider community?
I came to know about this site through online. I joined and came to know that its doing a great job to the community, Now I am also a technical member in the site too.
What motivated you to contribute in DotNetSpider?
Learn and let others learn attitude help you.
How much time do you spend on Technical communities to help
others?
As long as I get time
How are you balancing your Work life with your contribution in Technical Communities?
As the career grows you will not find time. Now my participation is less compared to previous years ,but where there is a will there is a way.
Please share with us your journey of becoming an DNS-MVM?
I was associated with DNS since its inception. This is the 6th time I am getting MVP from Spider. Thanks to spider for all their recognitions and awards
Few words about DotNetSpider?
Its nice place to meet technical people and enjoy technically, This site is doing good job to the .Net professionals. Yet content editing and copied articles need to be deleted so that we can become No1 site in the world.
What are your career goals?
To become CTO for a software company
Best moment in DotNetSpider tenure?
When I got MVP award from Microsoft due to my contributions here and attending MVP summit at Seattle, Redmond. We have Bill Gates session too for one and half hour. This happened in 2007.
Any message to technologists and suggestions to make DotNetSpider as World's number one Technical Site?
I encourage all the members to get compete enough to get MVM award.
