Posted Date: 21 Nov 2008      Posted By: Maheswari      Member Level: Gold     Points: 1   Responses: 1

Hi all,
I'm working with sql server reporting services.
While running i'm getting the following error.

Server cannot access application directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\Reporting Services\ReportServer\'. The directory does not exist or is not accessible because of security settings.

How to solve ths problem

Hi

- Because it is saying directory does not exits, check, whether really directory exists in the specified path or not.
Then
- Check whether the user have accessible permissions
- And then the service is running or not.

These are basic verifications that are done first when any software is not working...

Hope this helps u...

Regards,
Pavani.
