I have a problem in dreamweaver.

when I use use clear in css,

.class{
background:transparent;
width:100%;
height:100%;
float:left;
position:relative;
clear:left;
}

I amn't able to see result but if I use the same in HTML

<div style="clear:left;"></div>

I can easily see the effect.
Pls convey that why I can't see the result of clear in css?

Hi,
Hey it works good i have checked it , the only change i did i kept class as test.I used IE 7 & Mozilla 3.0.
