You need to tell a page on which you are working to use the @Control directive so that it compiles with debug symbols.
Where do you specify the @Control directive for the above scenario?
Choice 1
In an .aspx.cs file
Choice 2
In an .aspx.vb file
Choice 3
In an .ascx file
Choice 4
In an .asp file
Choice 5
In a HTML file

Answer is: Choice 3
As it is user control related attribute.
It is used by the ASP.NET page parser and compiler, and it is used only for ASP.NET User controls.
