How to do validation on Front end in VB.NET?

for example :

Arrival Date : 05/09/2008

Departure Date : 07/09/2008

But now i need to do that arrival date is formatted as any day on any year but the departure date must be will not changed. it is done only by using validation. How to do validate the forms in VB.NET?

Please Help Me

put that control to readonly = true;
