Validating maxlength of multiline textbox on server

Hi !
How to validate the maxlength of multiline textbox(asp textbox) on server side.
I dont want to use javascript's key press for that , since if the user paste something then keypress wouldnot trigger.

hi,

then in the text change of the text box u can determine the size of the text box by..

String .lenght()

Hi,

in the TextChanged event of the textbox compare the textbox maxlenght with the lenght of the text in the text box.
