Go to mail options or settings menu in Yahoo or Gmail or etc.,
There you will find an option for Import/Export contacts. Choose Export to export your contacts then select the format as csv or outlook format. CSV can be opened in excel and for Outlook you've to configure for Outlook. Better export as csv format.
