Could somebody give me ideas and steps to connect Sharepoint site with oracle database.
I want to retrieve some data from oracle database and want to display in Sharepoint site.
Somebody tell me step by step procedure to do so plz. It will be much helpful for me.
And If possible
How can I use database validations and can display data in a webpart.
For eg I want to display some list of value retrieved from an Oracle table.
Please avoid links. In my office most of the sites are blocked. SO I couldnt use and cant navigate through.
Provide me some code snippets are samples..
Am a newbie to Sharepoint.
Any help would be appreciated.

Using BDC(business Data Catalog) webpart we can connect to the Oracle database.
