error occuring while restoring...

The following error is getting while restoring database
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError:Directory looked up for the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\data\filename.mdf failed with the operating system error 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).(Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.Smo).

back up is possible..problem getting while restoring...
hope I get a clear answer

Hi,

it couldn't able to find the path, so do one thing
create a folder MSSQL in D:\ and follow the below steps

1. Right Click on the Databases folder and select Restore Database..
2.Under General left Tab Give the database name in To database dropdown
3.Select the From Device Radio Button and browse for the backup file
4. Select the Restore checkbox once you select the back up file.
5. Select Options tab in the left side
6. Under the Restore Database file as: You have to change the path in Restore As column to D:\MSSQL\YourDB.mdf and same with
D:\MSSQL\YourDB.ldf
