Send SMS using VB .NET

Hi all,

I am using VB.Net 2003 and SQL SERVER 2000.

I have been given a task to send SMS and E-Mail to the customers through my VB.net application.

I am a fresher, not aware of this topic very much. All suggestion /source codes/directions would be appreciated.
