Tabindex not working on Safari(MAC os)

Hi:
I have set Tabindex in my application, it works fine in all browsers except safari(MAC OS).I am checking the site in VNC.Can any one suggest me to solve this issue.

Well make the following settings in the SAFARI browser.
Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> check out "Press tab to highlight each item on a web Page"
