After posting a message in classic Dotnetspider, the message and the reply (posted) would appear.

During posting the message, there would be a checkbox 'Redirect to Unanswered questions' (this text might not be verbatim but in that context anyway). The current version of Dotnetspider seemed to have dropped the first behavior but implicity returns back to the Index of topics.

I found the solution myself. The checkbox 'Redirect to un answered questions' is still there. Now, in the current version, it is default checked, unlike its predecessor version.
