Suggestions & Feedback

Posted Date: 27 Apr 2008      Posted By: Tony John      Member Level: Diamond     Points: 1   Responses: 2

dotnetspider has been serving the .NET community since 1 Jan 2004. As of now (April 2008), dotnetspider is serving over 125,000 page views per day.

When we originally wrote this website using .NET 1.1, we did not plan for such a huge growth. We knew that our existing architecture cannot scale much to support our current growth rate.

Considering various inputs from our active members, we re wrote our complete website in C#. This was a huge effort in terms of programming the site as well as Search engine ranking.

On 26 April 2008, we have launched our new site now. Please feel free to post all your suggestions and feedback. We are open to criticism as well.

Welcome to dotnetspider. I am sure you will enjoy your time with us and find our resources valueable.

Regarding your suggestion, "archieves" is a feature missing from our previous version. Thanks for letting us know about this. We will soon work on this.

Feel free to post other feedbacks and suggestions.
