how to populate dropdownlist control from sql database using AJAX in ASP.NET? plz help me

hi,




i am working on web application using C#. I want to implement AJAX in my application. To populate dropdown list which is html control means Select control, so i want to display the database records in dropdown list control using ajax method. So plzz give me proper solution its urgent.

To use AJAX in order to avoid PostBack (Browser refresh) you need to keep your DropDownList into UpdatePanel.
